It would be nice if you had given the URL you were trying to reach!

Armed with my trusty Google, I found it at http://www.pepipoo.com/forums/ and the message I got was
    IPS Driver Error

There appears to be an error with the database.

I had to Google pepipoo because I'd never heard of it.:)

    Home page gives

    Database Connection Failed
    Error: Too many connections (1040)
    Function Performed: CONNECT
    Host/DB: localhost/pepipoo_cmsms
    Database Type: mysql

I'd guess someone is going to be getting some overtime. :D
    Move along, nothing to see.

Op do you check the forums before you ask ?
The same question was asked a couple of hours ago.

Thread going in the correct forum since yesterday. Pepipoo is not AFAIK a tecchie site - in the terms of this forum at least.

As nobody else seems prepared to actually give the OP a helpful answer, here is the thread on the Parking board that has been referred to.

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5530012

Although Pepipoo is not a technical forum I cannot see any issue with asking the question about it's availability on this board, the same as would be appropriate for any other website that someone is having difficulty accessing. OK, there was already a thread elsewhere, but that doesn't mean that answer to the question couldn't be provided on here.

So you don't think my answer to the OP, telling him the "corrupt database" response I got when trying to access the forums, showed him that he was not the only person who could not access them?

Yes, OK, it was, but you were a bit ungracious in the way you responded - pepipoo is probably one of the websites that is most often recommended on here for people to go to for more advice, so it wasn't unreasonable of the OP to hope that it would be pretty well known across MSE.
  • There are at least two web sites which can be used to ascertain whether a particular web site is working or not:

    http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

    http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/

Much quicker than asking on here (or on any other forum).
