Bones from the Butcher - Help!
Comments

Raw bones are fine, mine eat chicken wings and pig trotters all the time. It is only cooked bones that can splinter and chocke a dog0

I'd suggest you don't give the dog lamb/mutton bones, as they often splinter.
Beef shin bones should be fine, and delicious. However, given the various bits of advice from previous posters - why not have a quick word with a nurse at your vetinary practice?.................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -
used to give our old dog marrow bones raw no probs. Also used to hold the bone whilst he ate it - got him used to 'sharing' his food, and not getting nasty when with his bone and others...:j0
