    As you are making a claim to Jobseekers Allowance during the 2005 benefit year, your claim will be assessed using the tax years ending April 2003 and April 2004. In your original post you stated that you left Uni in 2003, I would assume that this was after April 2003 and therefore unless you worked whilst at Uni you would not have paid any NI during the tax year 2002/2003. If this is the case it doesn't matter what NI conts you have paid, you will not be entitled to contributory JSA.
