reccomend me a MP3/video player

Hi
Been looking at the new ipods. They are quite attractive...BUT I have read such "clay feet", tied to itunes etc that I don't think they'll do really.

I have a creative zen micro which has been great, but it now doesn't sync with windows media player -the creative software is a bit "clunky" if you don'twant to sync the whole library, it particularly doesn't like my way of leaving stuff in folders to sync- this seems to be the easiest way for spoken word stuff, so I don't get track one disc one followed by track 1 disc 2 etc.

So new player has to take folders intact.

Also wan tto put loads of recorded TV on to watch- it is WMA files at the moment- will itunes convert, or can I get something better to watch this on ??

Thanks

Personally I couldn't recommend the iPods enough, we've had several different music players, but the iPods are in a league of their own, the build quality is superb, the interface great, and the sound quality is excellent. When I next upgrade it'll be to another iPod.
