Its probably fairly easy to set it up at home on your existing connection.
Depends a little on your router model.

Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.

I'm not going to be using it for any confidential or financial stuff. I play a free game on a bingo site everyday. It may sound pathetic but I made £840 last year so I hate to miss any day as it all adds up to paying for my holiday IYSWIM.

Like the odd game of bingo myself. Where is the game at?:)

Seriously though, I have come to the conclusion that all the major internet corporations and advertisers (not to mention hackers) all want our personal information. Knowledge is money. This is not going to change any time soon just because I might think it is unethical. The pursuit of money always wins out.

Dont doubt you for a sec RumRat .. But how do they make their money then ?

What is their motivation for providing this service for free, when they undoubtebly have costs to do so ..

    :S
    Hi Andy
The free service is there to promote the paid for service. It has a 3 hour cut off and takes time to log on while you wait for a free server.
If you don't want the wait or the cut off, just buy a plan.

It is not a VPN, it's a proxy. A VPN encrypts all your traffic which if you really care about security and privacy I'd suggest using a reputable one on a public Wifi.

Germany, Singapore, Canada, the Netherlands and the U.S.locations only.

    No UK server.
  • There is a good way of doing it, if you don't mind splashing out for a new router.

I'm with Plusnet, so for a one off Fiver I got a static IP. I then purchased a Draytek Router off ebay and configured both my iPhone and iPad to be a dial up user.

On my iPhone I originally set this up as a PP2P but now its an L2TP due to security with iOS 10. I have told it to route all internet traffic through this VPN gateway.

Now when I'm abroad or using UK WiFi spots, I go into VPN and turn it on.

Works a treat and doesn't cost me anything per month.

Thanks to all who replied. Slightly off topic but Stockton a few years ago I discovered both jackpotjoy and sun bingo had free games every day. Sundown races on SB and tikki temple on JPJ.SB has been taken over and there free game has gone but JPJ still has news headlines where you reveal 6 spaces every day with an added free game at the end of the month. Its a bit of nonesense but pays well and I have never been tempted to gamble so works for me.

Just be aware bingo (even online) is illegal in Turkey:
