Don't be frightened to haggle with HL over fees, if you have portfolio rising in value with regular investment then they won't want you to leave them.

I think a few people had custom fees when HL introduced their new charges scheme and some people were very negatively impacted.
I think it's very unlikely that an existing customer would get that on their portfolio now.
