Combine Avios?

I am trying to combine my avios here:

https://www.britishairways.com/travel/combine-avios-error/execclub/_gf/en_gb

However, it tells me

"Sorry, you are not eligible to combine your Avios"

There is a link to the terms, https://www.britishairways.com/en-gb/executive-club/terms-and-conditions/conditions-of-use?sl=combine_my_avios#combine_my_avios, but they make no sense to me.

Does anyone know how I can contact them to find out more?

I have 100,000 miles. Are they actually worth anything?

you need to set up a household account on BA exec club to combine miles.

and yes 100000 miles are worth something

I would contact Avios not BA - I think you get more sense. There call centre is in Warrington

100,000 is worth at least £1000.depends what they are used for & when. And of course you can make amendments or even cancel the flights for £35 & get you Avios back

We have three tickets to Crete for next August with BA. 60,000 Avios plus £84

If you want to buy the same tickets today £1450.00

If you do have a household a/c you cannot just move them between BA & Avios. You have to split them out and move them as an individual.

Although, Avios did tell me the other week, you can take chunk's of Avios from individual accounts, to make up the total required, but no idea how

    Are you sure?

Mrs Roger and I have our own accounts, not a household account. Only last week, we made four transfers: 2x Diamond Club to BAEC Avios and 2x IB avios to BAEC Avios.

If you are combining BA Avios and 'Avios' Avios, you may want to try combining them on the Avios.com website. I've had difficulties combining Avios on the BA website, but the Avios site always seems to work.
  • The problem may be if you have an Avios.com Household Acc. You cant move Avios from that. You need to unwind the acc first, then each individual member can move their own miles seperately.
