    Dear Gods yes - we had a 'pregnant' chair. That it was in the IT team with a pack of full time wanna-be-alpha males was surely entirely coincidental.

    Me, I worked in an office the other end of the motorway & still took several lengths of mat leave!

    Or is it just those who are likely to be trying for a baby/want to lose weight in the near future bagsy the chairs as soon as they're free? What do you think is most likely, this or chairs with supernatural powers?

    It's just confirmation bias in that people will notice when someone who sat in the chair got pregnant. They will ignore all the people who sat in the chair and did not get pregnant.

    Move the chair. Or swop it for the weight loss chair.

    Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem (England's oldest Inn in Nottingham) has a pregnancy chair :p

    We used to have one at work too and everyone was afraid to sit in it :p although never heard of the weight loss chair, I will get to the back of the line for that one :)
