Replace Locks with Self Locking Locks?

I know this may sound like a silly question but we have a UPVC door with a lock that just locks with the key.
Our rear door is also UPVC but has a handle that if you life it up, you can't open the door from outside without the key.
Is this an easy change?
Expensive?
Any pointers on what I need to buy?
Thanks 🙂

There's a 2011 thread about this, but in reverse, if you see wot I mean . . .

Think it's a "split spindle" system, no idea about cost. It could be quite cheap and simple to change. Might depend on how old the door and lock/ handle is.0 -
Thanks for the thread.
I think I'm gonna have to get someone to take a look, as some posts say it'll cost very little, another one says it'll be £70 odd!
I hope it's just a setting.
I'm sure my parents house can open either way, but if you're on the inside and you've lifted the handle then it can't be opened from the inside.0 -
Wow - what a great idea - I'd never heard of these before !
