New oven - recommendations?

Am never sure where to post a request for recommendations regarding replacing household items!

Has anyone bought an electric oven in the last three years or so which they are happy with? I would be particularly interested to hear from anyone who is a 'high use' person - an avid baker or suchlike - who can testify to reliability and ease of use.

I need one for a tower unit but assume that these are broadly the same as below-worktop models.

Depending on your budget, stick with Siemens/Neff/Bosch. If you can spend more get a Miele/VZUG

I have a Siemens. It's consistent, solid and bakes well.... easy to use and lots of auto programme settings if you want them. Self cleaning works well. Only thing which annoys me is that it seems to eat halogen bulbs used for internal illumination

I have two built in Siemens ovens that are about 6 months old. I'm very impressed with them. They seem very solidly constructed and they are a doddle to use once you are familiar with the settings displays.
