Just a quick update.
Went to M & S earlier....and surprisingly the Manager was really helpful. He said a few of their customers had been fined previously and they were able to get them cancelled....so he would try his best for me.
So fingers crossed.
OK, that's the way to do it.
Keep on top of the manager and ensure you get in writing/email.
Given the reputation of Smart and they were kicked out of Asda, I thought M&S would have more sense than to employ these vermin.
There you go, something to remind M&S head office of if the manager fails you, I think you will be OK, unlike some of these retailers M&S really do want your business and respect customers.0 -

Why don't you email the manager you spoke with, thank him for intervening and agreeing to cancel the PCN issued to you..
Ask if he wouldn't mind just confirming that agreement with a quick reply to this (your) email. Thank him for his time; you can well imagine how busy he is as a store manager and you appreciate the attention he has already given you.

He took a photocopy of the PNC, and we exchanged contact numbers and he said he would be on touch asap.
Sure I could find his email address somewhere though0 -
