New Build - Street Sign

anyone experienced this?

I bought my new build in December, and I've come home today, to find the developer (9 months later) has planted a street name sign in my garden, (they have also made a mess of the landscaping both today, and when building a small wall)
there was never any indication on my plans, nor any mention of a sign in any discussion.

the sign is pointless anyway, it covers the small brick weave cul-de-sac behind mine (same street) with 4 houses) and can barely be seen from the street.

what would happen if I pulled it out?

I'd pull it up. One remedy for trespass is removal of the item! Just don't throw it away. Tell them its in storage for 10 days and they can pick it up.

It wouldn't be the first time a contractor has decided where to put a sign, rather than reading the instruction.

Drive is an odd name for what looks like a very short cul de sac.

the 4 houses are classed as the same road as mine and another 60 houses, just off the main road on the brick weave.

You're seriously contemplating pulling out of the purchase because of where the sign with the road name is...?

Or is this just a handy excuse to cover some buyer's remorse?

Oh boy Adrian have you got the wrong end of the stick. Read it again especially with reference to other meanings of "pull" and "out".

Ah, yes. My 'pologies. I glossed over the "it".

    Criminal damage at the worst.
