Hi there lovely people,
I've finally decided to ditch the Virgin package and go for freeview but have been a bit bamboozled by the range of products out there! I just want what I need but am unsure which one to go for! I want to be able to record fom video so assume I need to scart sockets but other than that am clueless! Can anyone help please? Much appreciated!

Thanks for that! I think I'll go to the shop & get a blokie to show me there & then look on internet for cheapest deal when I know what I need! I dont really want to spend as much as £80 to be honest as the whole point of getting it is to save money!! Thanks for help though - at least I know what to look for! Finally decided - rang Virgin & reduced to their free tv package (same as freeview Ithink) so saved having to buy a box and saved loads! Not quite what I had anticipated at the start of the quest but very DFW! Many thanks for all your help albert!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! I'd definitely recommend getting a PVR freeview box. We bought a refurbished dual tuner digifusion FVRT200 from microdirect.co.uk for under £60. It's totally changed our TV viewing habits to the point that we rarely watch live tv anymore. Also we spend less time watching tv as we skip through all the ads! We still have a vcr hooked up but we havent actually used it at all since we got the pvr box.
