I have a ridiculously massive down stairs WC.
It's next door to the kitchen and I think that the space would be better used as a utility room. Would it be expensive to move the toilet straight forward about 4/5 feet?

It shouldn't be, no. If there aren't any complications it's some pipe and a man's time.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
