two outside lights and one PIR

I have a quick question as to whether something is feasible.

My current outside light is an all-in-one unit (passive and light in one) fed from a single mains/lighting cable through to the outside wall. The previous people put this in and its run from the kitchen light with no actual switch for the external lighting - its just live until the downstairs lights switch is off at the main box - if that makes sense.

I'd like to get someone in to put a single PIR pretty much where the cable comes through the wall and run cables to have it switch on two lights, one at the side and one high up at the back of the house if it senses movement.

With it not having its own switch or isolation - would a spark be able to do this legally/properly/in the regs etc?

I don't see any problem running two lights from one PIR unless there is a restriction on load (see PIR instruction sheet) but I suspect any leccy will want to sort out the lack of isolation for the existing outside light. From your description it seems that the outside light is fed from the live side of the kitchen light switch. Is it possible to fit a double switch in the same box in the kitchen, one switch for the kitchen light and the other to feed the outside PIR and lights.
