Rear end bump.
Sitting in a queue of traffic today and I was rear-ended by an elderly gentleman.
Fortunately I'm a bangernomics fan and I was in my old car with a few scrapes on it anyway. I can't see any further damage to the car and I'm feeling ok.
The question is what to do now. The thing that concerns me is that he was struggling to give me information. He couldn't remember his insurance company and even had to ask his wife the name of the town he stayed in. He might have been in shock of course.
So do I:-
Just ignore it and do nothing.
Phone him and say I cannot see any damage and I'm inclined to drop it.
Contact someone (police?) and say I'm concerned about his ability to drive?

If you are inclined to drop it then do so.0

Claim - get cash in lieu of repair - dont repair it and keep driving.
Do you and everyone who pays car insurance a favour and dont claim for whiplash that isnt there - do buy a 50p sim card and give this to the insurance companies as you WILL receive no win no fee no injury lawyers for the next 6 years.0 -
For as politicaly incorrect as it is, I think we need to get these old fools off the road.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
