Hi Ev1
Has anyone got any advice on selling off stock?
I want to get rid of it quickly for the money, its mainly home accessories, kitchenware and other items
Have thought about ebay but not too keen?
Any ideas would be great

Hi, If you are not keen on ebay you may need to try something like a local sales paper such as loot if you want a fairly quick sale and most of these papers are free to advertise in if you are a private seller or fairly cheap if you want to sell in bulk. Ebay would give a large audience and you can set up a shop for £6 per month and its often free for the first month so open shop, list items for as little as 9p each and then close it before the month is up to save on costs. The items you are selling seem perfect for ebay unless they are heavy and expensive to post. Apart from that it would be to contact local market traders etc but you might end up selling for a loss as they need to buy cheap to make a profit themsekves. Some People Live & Learn, Some People Just Live...0

Hi guys
Thank you for your advice.
I have sold on ebay before and only recently closed the shop down. What I'm a little confused by is how to actually list the items, they are so varied and Im not sure how much info buyers are going to want, should I list it as a job lot/two job lots and give a rough detail of whats in there or should I have seperate listings for the types of items e.g Bags, toasters, kitchenwear etc? including photos etc? Obviously I want to get as much as I can for the items and they are all really good quality, its just knowig where to start, having never done this before.
I'd really appreciate knowing how you sold your stock pgilc1?
Thanks again0 -
why not list them in lots by product type? eg all toaters together0
