Roof repair Quote - Fair?

Hello,

I have been quoted £300 for replacing 10 slipped tiles and to redo a meter long patch of cement fillet on a boundary wall, roofer told me that it will take him 2hrs max to do the job. This is in London - £300 for 2 hrs job appears high but then again I am told that Roof repairs are usually costly. Any thoughts?

what I did- took a picture of the thing that needs done, and sent email to 30+ roofers, choosed the cheapest and which sounded the best and got it done for 1/3 of the original quoted price..

yes roof repairs are expensive well just because they can charge for it whatever they like it because no1 wants to climb on a roof himself..

Thanks, this particular part of the roof is difficult to get to, when I originally asked a builder who said it will need scaffolding etc and would cost £1,000 - so I called in a roofer - who just went up and had a look. Another one coming around today, let's see what he says.
