    The answer's fairly obvious, the husband in one house had an affair with the wife in the other and after being found out, both couples decided to move away!

    Well, in a TV play some years this happened and the final scene was a shot of For Sale boards outside both houses

  • I would ask EA and vendor(s) and make a note of the answers given. If they do lie you might have some comeback. Last one we looked at like that the left hand house was subsiding and owner had no money to sort it out. It had sold twice and fallen through on survey, attached owners were sick of it all and just wanted out.
    Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.

    My next door neighbour and I put our houses up for sale at the same time - we bought a slightly bigger house in the next street and got married.
