New build - survey/snagging?

Hi
We reserved a new build property at the weekend (Cala), and doing a part-ex (FYI we are in Scotland).
They want us to complete missives in 2 weeks, probably move in November.
Now we are in the unusual position in that our new build house is already built and complete - it was converted to a "viewhome" to try and get it sold (a "showhome-lite", includes flooring, lighting, window dressing etc).
Should we try and get a snagging survey done now and therefore can be included in the missives? Anybody have experience of that?
They are doing a survey on our house before we conclude.....

Not so much "including it in the missives", more (preferably) get it checked and get them to remedy any faults before you conclude missives.0
