Address affecting credit report?

Options
Hi,

My address is, according to Royal Mail, is in the following format, but obviously I've renamed parts to post this thread:

Flat 3/4 (Flat Number)
1 AppleSeed View (Street Number and name of block of flats)
Apple Road (Road flats reside on)
Apple (Village flat is in)
Bigger Apple (Main post code area/town flat is in)
AP01 1AB (Post code)

Due to the layout of address, some banks, utility co's have different variants due to their automated address entry systems, such as

"Flat 3/4, 1 AppleSeed View, Apple Road, Apple, Bigger Apple, AP01 1AB"
"Flat 3-4, 1 AppleSeed View, Apple Road, Apple, Bigger Apple, AP01 1AB"
"Flat 3-4, AppleSeed View, 1 Apple Road, Apple, Bigger Apple, AP01 1AB"
"Flat 3/4, 1 AppleSeed View, Apple Road, Apple, AP01 1AB"

Would these variants affect my credit score/report? or as the post code is the same it wouldn't matter? as it seems impossible to get them all the same due to some places not allowing you manual input of address, you can only use their auto-populated from post code ones.

Thanks
Sam

May mean that you have to provide ID when applying for a product (usually driving licence or passport and a recent utility bill or bank statement; some lenders will insist on certified copies) due to variants causing electronic verification to fail, but other than that I don't think so.

Many systems will be clever enough to work out these are the same address, they should be on your credit file as other addresses, shouldn't cause too much of an issue. I had the same situation in my previous two addresses and never had to prove I lived there, every application went through without a hitch.

My current address however causes no end of issues as I have a house name, no road name, a village and then the nearest town is 5 miles away but sometimes is shown as my town. Then the postcode.

Some organisations have the village as my street, as do the council for electoral roll details, so that was a big issue for ages. I've still never had to prove I lived here, the problem was the CRAs simply didn't have me as registered on the electoral roll at my current address, but I was at another linked address - which was the same address just formatted differently. Only.... it wasn't, it read the same, same words same order, just the boxes the words were in were wrong and the systems couldn't work it out.

You shouldn't have the same issue if they are the only four formatting differences.

If your address really is in that format then the best thing you can do if you are ever going to need anything which uses info from a CRA is to move. You will never get all 3 to agree that you exist, if you can get even one of them to!
