I have tried to do a BT via online banking from Argos card to my CC when I put the Argos card number I get an error saying number not valid. Has anyone else had a problem with paying off Argos? If so did you get it resolved.

    The Argos store card doesn't have the standard 16-digit number (it has 18 or 19 from memory?).

    You'll need a money transfer card instead.

    Or pay off your Argos card with your money in bank and the. Put all purchases on a normal credit card with no balance and BT tovthus or get a purchase card and use that.

    You can't pay off an argos card with another cc, or vice versa as the argos card is neither a master card or visa.
