NHS Fleet Solutions

I have an Audi A3 based on 8000 miles (I massively under estimated my annual mileage).

I am currently on 13000 miles and I'm looking at handing it back in November when I will have 2 years left so that I am paying only 3 x monthly fee instead of 5.

Does anyone know how much the excess miles will be? I've read 7p per mile on google but a friend has said 45p.

Thanks in advance

The only definitive answer is to read your contract which will state the excess charge as it varies according to model. Around 7p is more likely near the figure, 45p is way ott.

7ppm is the excess mileage figure VAG finance charge. One would expect it to be somewhere from 7 to 13 pence.
45ppm is the mileage rate a driver would be reimbursed by HMRC rates so I think that you are getting the two mixed up.
It should be clear in the agreement that you signed.

Have you tried phoning your finance co. and asking them to increase the agreed mileage. You might be surprised and they wont charge you for it.

BTW, your financial agreement should specify any mileage charges, I suggest you read it.
