I forgot to mention that i work at the place i was parked. I left a note for them explaining that i had been fined, and they said they are going to contact the Parking Eye company to sort it out, so my vehicle can be parked there. However while im waiting for this ive now had two letters come through from DRP (Debt recovery plus) for £160 - So its now £320 they want. I cant aford this?! Im a cleaner for crying out loud. Any help would be great. Ill be calling the debt company tomorrow but what do i do?

    NEVER EVER CONTACT DRP

They cannot do anything to you and they are just timewasters
Ignore all threats from DRP, ONLY Parking Eye can go further so tell your work what is happening to put pressure on them to cancel

    NEVER EVER CONTACT DRP

    NONONONONONONONONONO!

For the love of God, at least search the forum first and DO NOT PHONE the idiots:

    Yawn...

Sorry but this is such a tedious subject done to death here and so very easy to search for or Google (not reading DRP's own daft website).

    ....contact the Parking Eye company...
How on earth has this gone from Smart Parking in post 1 to ParkingEye?

There's a World of difference between the 2 when it comes to fighting your corner: ParkingEye are a Great White shark compared to Smart Parking's Dogfish!

We must use that analogy again in other threads; that's superb, Myriddin! :T

  • I called the dept company, because to be honest id rather plead my case then go to court, and it turns out my parking fines where cancelled off anyway after my work finally got in touch

Well done for getting them cancelled.

But, when we say "Never call a PPC or a debt collector" we really, really mean it.

so, for the avoidance of all doubt for anyone reading this thread,

Never Ever EVER call a PPC or a debt collector.

    Just don't do it.

We dont want Newbies blowing their own toes off.

Pleading your case down the phone with a DC or a PPC will never work and may well seriously harm your case.
