DS2 always got filthy within five minutes of getting dressed in clean clothes, he was a dirt magnet :rotfl: whereas DS3 who is three years younger usually managed to stay reasonably clean.
Your family lunch sounds lovely. I love the idea of the flower wall for photos, what a great idea.
I hope you enjoy your North Yorkshire jaunt.

Well I totally overslept this morning and ended up getting into work forty minutes late.! There was no letter from the loans company re the PPI awaiting me last night and I meant to call them today to see what was going on. However, because I was rushing this morning I forgot to pick the papers up! So it'll have to wait till tomorrow now!
Nothing much on the spends front though - I put some cash over to DSis's account today for Mother's Day flowers for my mum's grave as DSis is going there tomorrow and I will be away this weekend.
I'll be packing for the weekend tonight and generally tidying up before I catch the train tomorrow evening after work. DD has booked a table at a local restaurant for Mother's Day lunch so I'm looking forward to that, as well as seeing them all again!:)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thank you all for popping by.
Cumbria – I hope you had a lovely weekend too on the Yorkshire coast! The weather was much warmer at the weekend than it is at the moment!
Munchin – I actually spoke to the loan provider on Friday to see what was happening – they told me that they had sent a letter out to me at the end of last week confirming that they were still looking into it and would get back to me within eight weeks! The letter was waiting for me when I got home yesterday. I'm hoping that the delay is due to the fact that they are adding up all the interest over the years rather than that they are busy and haven't actually got around to it yet!
I had a lovely weekend with DD and her OH. Was thoroughly spoilt and taken out for some lovely meals. DD and I took a trip to Harrogate on Monday – Previous to this I'd only been there in the evening for a meal and driven through. Some really nice shops there and we had a good old mooch around. I bought some cakes and biscuits in the branch of the lovely caf! that I normally go to in DDville. DD bought a nibbles plate and some cushion covers.
For a Mother's Day present DD and OH bought me a ticket to see Giorgio Moroder last night in London. This meant that I ended up not going into work yesterday. I had booked the early train back and was going straight into work. But going to the gig last night meant I would have had to drag my big suitcase across half of London and also to the gig. Boss said I could have the day off so I went straight home when I arrived into Kings X and then back to London last night for the concert – which was great by the way!:T
END OF SCRIMPY WEEK 1 – APRIL (which was on Sunday)
I ended with up with £26.45 to go over to Ad Hoc Savings at the end of the week. Ad Hoc spends were the Monday coffees (£5.10), battery replacement/thorough cleaning of my watch (£59.95) and taxis (£8.50).
The Entertainment pot went down whilst I was away as I bought DD and OH lunch on Saturday.
SCRIMPY WEEK 2 – APRIL
I have £100 Ad Hoc spends this week. So far I've spent £21.20 in the lovely Harrogate cafe!, £16.47 on Sky films for last month and £36.30 on taxis (don't ask, but I'm blaming the heavy suitcase!)
Plus - I put on 2lb when I weighed in this morning, but seeing I've been stuffing my face all weekend I'm not surprised! Must do better!
I'm typing this before I leave work so will catch up with diaries tonight when I get home!

Glad you had such a lovely time. Ooh Giorgio Moroder, that brings back happy memories of my disco days, I didn't realise he was still going strong.
Never mind about the 2lb gain, it was all in a good cause and you'll soon shed it when you're back to normal.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
