    dont forget the Fairy liquid, it is much cheaper than buying real car shampoo and it makes more bubbles as well :rotfl:

    Sure there are plenty of others, but the (very busy) three quidders next door to the garage I use for jobs I don't want to do have a few nasties in their arsenal:

    Undiluted high strength traffic film remover, which can damage paintwork if left on too long

    Industrial degreaser used under the bonnet, which attacks rubber

    Brake cleaner used all over alloys and tyres, again which can attack rubber

    Acidic wheel cleaner, which I've seen them use on various parts of customers' cars where it shouldn't be - although to be honest I wouldn't even use it on my wheels
