Hi all,
Hugs to everyone who needs them xx
Distinctly cooler here, was nice to snuggle under the duvet last night.
We dropped youngest off to Uni yesterday - I tried to not cry, but did in the end - not sure whether it was over leaving my 'baby' in a strange place, or the money it's cost :rotfl:
Need to clean the house from top to bottom and learn to cook for a couple not an army
Toad in the hole today, with mash and onion gravy :j
Take care all xNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
£300/£1300 -
I keep telling Mr LW that getting old ain't all it's cracked up to be, and can we please not do it. :rotfl:TravellingAbuela wrote: »This growing old lark isn't much fun these days.
Syman welcome back, and well done to you and DW on the weight loss.:T
I managed, over a period of time, to shift two and a half stone with the aid of WiiFitPlus.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Lamewolf - I sympathise with you - my eldest DD is working as an intern for a year in Holland and I miss her a lot. Then she'll still have one more year to go at uni. It must have been awful being a mum before mobile phones and skype.
I've just dug my potatoes up - the first ones in this garden. I planted them far to close together but still got quite a lot.
Not had the best of weeks - my dad has dementia and has suddenly got a lot worse. He has no balance so has to use his electric wheelchair in the house, bad hand eye coordination and speech has worsened too. He's been ill the last couple of weeks too so not in the best of spirits.
Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday0
