Not for much longer, they haven't. The energy market is about to open up to competition from Republic of Ireland. I had heard it was May (ie now) but it seems to be taking longer for some reason. Businesses will be the first to be targeted by the new companies but the domestic customers will follow shortly. How happy I will be to say goodbye to those master rip off merchants at NIE.0
