iOS 10 Compatibilty with VW App Connect

I'll be getting a VW in the new year and it'll have the App Connection function. I'll also be getting a new iPhone which is likely to come with iOS 10. I know iOS 10 was released this week but wondered if it's already compatible and working with App Connect?
