Car Insurance C/O Address Only Insurer Verbally Accepts

Hi Moneysavers!
I will be travelling for work for the next 5 months, staying in hotels provided by work during the week and AirBnB etc on my coin at the weekends.
During this time, I won't have a fixed address and will be using my parents' address as a mailing and general c/o address. I understand from reading I have done elsewhere that the DVLA will be fine with this.
I have explained my situation to Admiral / Bell over the phone and they have told me my parents' address is acceptable for the quote and have either said that they will use 'secure work car park' with no postcode for the overnight address, or simply my parents' address for overnight - despite the fact that the car will not be there for any time over the 5 months.
I will more than likely be going for one of their black box policies, which will record where the car is. In their terms and conditions it states that they have the right to monitor the cars location, and update or even cancel the policy if it does not match with my certificate.
Is there some course of action I should take on acceptance of their quote to prove that I have declared my whereabouts during quote time, and that they advised me to use my parents address? I foresee the black box finding a different address to the one on my policy, and automatically spewing out a bill for some random postcode where I might have been, only for my defence of 'you said it was ok' to fall on deaf ears.
Cheers for any help!

Ask them to confirm back to you in writing that they are aware and have noted the correct overnight location(s) your car will be at whilst you have no fixed address0

Hi Quentin,
Thank you for the reply and advice. I worry that they will reconsider if I take that approach. In a way I'm riding on the fact that the salesman / their manager will say whatever is requires to get their sale. Could I record the call as proof instead?
Thanks again.0 -
Looking at my original post, it wasn't clear that I don't even know at this point what my overnight address postcodes will be - further, because the training will be in different locations, it will change week-on-week.
Quentin has provided some useful advice - can anyone else pitch in?
Or has anyone been in a similar situation with insurance?
Cheers0 -
My only suggestion if you are concerned the black box will determine the premium, would be to not take out a black box policy? What's the price difference between that and the next policy?
Ultimately they have verbally cornfimed acceptance of the risk, I agree with Quentin that you should get this confirmation in writing.
If you have been truthful in your application to the insurer, and they have disregarded the information you have given them, they cannot at a later stage rely on it and withdraw cover.0
