Hi,
I am having major issues in the pub with a hdmi splitter
The sky box is connected to a powered hdmi splitter which is then split out to 3 diff tvs
there has been no issues for ages then all of a sudden i extended one of the hdmi cables with a hdmi coupler from ebay female to female and put another 5m hdmi cable in
This then worked for a day, after a day lost total signal to the tv i extended to and the other tvs now every so often will go totally black for about 2 seconds and then come back on.
Anyone any idea of how to solve this issue or if they know what to do
Thanks alot

Try swapping the cables to see if one is at fault.0

the cable run is now probably too long and needs an amplifier.0

So the cable that went to the first tv i extented with an extender literally two meters
Could that really cause it to work and then not to work couple hours later? Also if thats the case there is a socket 1 meter back.. Can i plug a booster in there so run one hdmi intonit and then the other like 3m to the tv and then it will all work fine?
As for the other tv i moved its same again one cable has been extended literally two meters but the other about 8 meters... Would that be best bringing them both back to the 8 meter position and connecting two boosetrs to sockets and running two 10m wires to the tv would that work
Sorry for the confusion etc, its a complicated pub haha thanks alot0 -

Absolutely. You were just lucky it worked for the 1st 2 hours! If we're talking about 2x 2m HDMI leads, with an extender in the middle, you'd be far better with a single 5m cable - or a single 10m instead of 2 5ms, for example.0
