How do you go skiing on the cheap?

Hi
I regularly go skiing / Snowboarding ever year with a bunch of mates and I was wondering if anyone had tips for reducing the cost?
Everyone is at a pretty high standard after doing seasons in Whistler (Canada) and France, so good resorts with high annual snow records are a must. We are thinking of Fernie in the Canadian Rockies this winter.
Any tips gratefully received!!!

Try airlines like Canadian Affair & Zoom for low(er) cost flights to Canada.
Alternatively try going to the US to take advantage of the exchange rate. Try some of the east coast resorts as there are low(er) cost flights to the East Coast
BUT if you really want to reduce costs then don't go Transatlantic and go to one of the former Eastern Bloc countries0 -
I have seen fernie for the last 2 seasons on lastminute.com for £249 10 nts going around 1st week of jan but been told its around minus 40 then!!! price does drop if booking within the last 6 wks... also try directski.comI would love to be a Travel Agent :j0
