Hi guys
My son has an Elgato HD60 game capture, that he wants to use to make videos of his xbox one gameplay. He needs a laptop/PC for this (which we need to purchase but I'm clueless as to what I need )
I've had a look at the system requirements ( http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/elgato-game-capture-hd60-a32rk?cmpid=ppc&gclid=CIS0xsDdlM8CFZUV0wod2VUBgg)
But I still have no idea what to look for. Basically he will be using the laptop mainly for game capture and making YouTube videos! And if I'm very lucky the odd bit of homework! Can anyone advise me as to what would suitable for this? I was thinking about £150 budget but can go over this if necessary.
Thank you!

Try here
Example: Dell OptiPlex 390 - Core i5 2400 £154.99
or
Dell OptiPlex 790 - Core i7 2600 £219.99
Not necessarily the best value. Just an example of the spec that you need and prices that you need not go over.
If no need for portability, you can consider the PCIe card: http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-and-home-entertainment/gaming/gaming-accessories/elgato-hd60-pro-pcie-game-capture-card-10140126-pdt.html0 -
He can just use the Game DVR on the Xbox - no PC required. It;s only if you're looking to capture long clips that you need a capture card.0
