Updated list above spoke to friend I had lost touch with was lovely. I'm going down to see her mid May and catch up with some other friends. She's not in a good way and splitting from husband so needs support and I have the time so why not. Well I hope I have the time don't really want to be working yet.
Well best get on with my safeguarding course the joys.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Almost completed safeguard feels nice but message form my mum this evening not good it's my uncle. He's been in hospital all week now and the CO2 levels aren't dropping. They are considering stopping treatment at the moment he's still conscious but getting confused and didn't recognise my mum for a moment. She's obovusly upset but it's no quality of life and he's just got us no family of his own lived in a home for 65 years.
She's calling me back tomorrow and we will decide if I fly over I've got tickets to come over 21/4 to 25/4 but if he's deteriorating now I feel I should be there for my mum. Really difficult but maybe that's what I was meant to do in my time off.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Really sorry to hear about your uncle TG. Yes, quality of life is the most important thing. It must be difficult for your mother so it is fortunate you are free if she needs you.0

Thanks SusieSue they took of the ventilator and two and half hours later he died peacefully. He opened his eyes and looked st them all before taking a deep breath and that was it. At the same time I was on the golf course and a robin flew next to me and then went to sit in a lovely Japanese cherry tree full of pink blossom. After the game he came again and sat near me as I had my lunch. Sad day but spoke to both my mum and sister and they said it had been almost beautiful. The kids also got to say goodbye but they didn't stay for the end which was right,
I'm hoping funeral will be just after Easter so I can just change my ticket and go over three days early but if it's Weds next week (Thursday is bank holiday) then I'll go asap. Will know Monday.
I know I should have been better at keeper in touch with my uncle but I always saw him whenever I was in the country and I last saw him at Christmas. RIP I'll miss you.
Today hopefully gym and maybe by a new vacuum cleaner much needed. Need to do some study on my investing course and finish my safeguard course. Got two more jobs to apply for really need that CV spot on.
Enjoy the sunshine happy Sunday everyone.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Things have slowed down quite a bit didn't get anything productive done yesterday looked at the jobs I had saved and decided they weren't for me. My doctors appointment health check was cancelled so totally last day but not today.
Funeral will be on the 19/4 so I've changed my ticket to the 18/4 so I'll get a week over there. My friend will still come for the confirmation and we'll travel back together. Cost me another £188 but I want to be there for them all and myself.
I wish I had heard back from the jobs I've applied for one did say three weeks and it's Easter so maybe that's why I really think I should get at least an interview for one of them but we shall see.
I will apply for two today definitely and do some work on my course plus finish that Safeguard one then it's done and duster. I'm enjoying the investment one definitely looking forward to doing the second one but glad it's not until June.
My first investments for 17/18 went in yesterday in the ISA and investment fund all very exciting.
Think that's it for now might pop back later to keep me focused.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Better day yesterday got cv ready to email to contact at agency only to find they had left. Spoke to the person taking over he said no suitable job right now but will keep on file so that's good.
Still got safeguard corse to do but might try to do that while I wait for DG later on she's going to see a client and I'll tag along.
Going to do my investment course now and then be ready for an early lunch when DG gets back. Second load on so that's good so nice to have Garden back as we now have washline up outside much nicer.
Found a load of yellow sticker stuff in Waitrose yesterday naughty lemon dizzle cake and hot cross buns but so cheap. Did make gym though.
Hopefully golf and pictures later two for one of course.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Nice day yesterday workmen came while I was in the garden they are almost finished and will put lock on gate which means I can leave some stuff outside (I lost two chairs last year) and we will also get our tap back which will be good.
Didn't get any job hunting done but did a bit on my course (not boring safeguarding) and we then went off to DG appointment. That finished at 2pm so the plan was to hit some golf balls on the nearby range but we went instead to a more local course and played 18 holes. It was really good and we both enjoyed it. We hired a buggy as we didn't have our trolleys so £54 for both but nice afternoon out and also lovely weather. I played well and DG is getting a lot lot better she can almost play a proper game.
Didn't eat out but went to sainsbo to get loo roll and bacon got a £40 vacuum cleaner and had £8 off £60 and paid with nectar points so one free shop which was really nice. My Dyson has died it's so sad but it got mistreated when I left home.
Today I must do some job hunting otherwise I'll end up doing it in Denmark which I don't want to do. I am concerned I've not heard from the ones I've applied for one did say three weeks and there was no closing date on the MSE one so not giving up hope just yet it's only been a week and a week and a half.
Tomorrow we are meeting dgs mum it's her birthday today. Hoping to use the Today Tix to get cheap tickets for Dreamgirls might be tricky as it's a bank holiday.
Update
Applied for trustee post won't pay much but will look good on cv and I'm interested in that area.
Applied and funded my new NS&I saving bond at 2.2% give much but better than 0.05% where it's currently sat.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Nice Friday spent with DGs mum in Convent Garden both entered Today's Tix app lottery for cheap tickets but no luck. Didn't see a show in the end just so expensive. Nice dinner and two for one cocktails at a beach bar type club good fun and nice time spent with DGs mum.
Watched a movie and had a couple of drinks when we got in went to bed just after 11 DG stayed up she's still sleeping she does like her late nights. Plans for me are to do some study so I'm up to date this week and then money day Tuesday get ahead on next week as I'm away. Golf hopefully Sunday.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Golf today really nice booked buggy again £25 only to receive email this morning that it was free if booked game today. We booked last night typical.
Took lunch with us to eat on course and didn't stay for drink afterwards does cut down on cost and still enjoyable. I didn't play too badly just a few studpid mistakes.
DG won three golf clubs on eBay £275 buy it now price but they accepted £230 so happy with that. They are already cut down and so much cheaper than new she will have use of those for years now so that's good.
Tired so early night for me soon.Save £12k in 25 No 49
