The problem bounts has now is that people are amassing points far faster than they can redeem them. So their points liability is increasing so fast that I cant see them ever being able to add enough vouchers to sastify everyone.
Even if I get a voucher now (unlikely!) I will be earning points twice as fast as i can redeem them0 -
Why is MSE promoting this?
Its clearly not working.Total - £340.00
wins : £7.50 Virgin Vouchers, Nikon Coolpixs S550 x 2, I-Tunes Vouchers, £5 Esprit Voucher, Big Snap 2 (x2), Alaska Seafood book0 -
I paid for premium membership about 6 months ago, I am like most people and have been unable to redeem any vouchers. The company offered refunds for anyone who had paid premium in September. Since they had changed the description of the company to not guarantee vouchers anymore I wanted my money back. I was initially told it would take 7-10working days. That was at the end of September. I am still waiting for my refund.
I am emailing the company a couple times a week, I only get a response once a week telling me someone will get back to me. The response I got yesterday was to allow 30 days for the refund to be processed, it was only that one sentence in the email, so I am unsure if that it is a total of 30 days (which it already has been) or another 30 from this week!
Any advice? My gut instinct is that they offered refunds and will not actually give them now! Wishing I had never heard of bounts now!0 -
You can blame MSE!!
Until they got involved in promoting Bounts, everything was running just fine! I see there's no further comment from MSE Oliver on this thread concerning all the complaints and dissatisfied customers!0 -
The app initially worked well so I subscribed to premium, since then no vouchers are available.
Somebody should look into this as they are not fulfilling their promise.0 -
I joined Bounts in February, joined Premium+ and got vouchers really easily then. Haven't seen any in stock for months. I've noticed now that they're trying to get people to scan their grocery shopping receipts to earn more useless points.
Not going to ask for a refund as I've had my money back in vouchers but I won't be renewing and I'm not logging any more activities with them, as I'm unwilling to let them sell my data without something on return.
Feel so bad about recommending this to friends now. It was good once but clearly can't cope.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
So it looks like Bounts is changing away from the 'rewards' model. I got this email today...Removing Premium and Premium+ Membership
One of the key changes we made in recent times that has proved to be of limited value to members and to bounts has been Premium+ membership. Although it allowed some members to accumulate points rapidly, it was something that changed the nature of bounts from motivational and inspirational to something more akin to a nectar type loyalty scheme, where the gaining of cash vouchers (or the equivalent) is the main aim rather than a pleasant occasional reward for lifestyle changes. There is nothing wrong with a nectar scheme, but it’s not what bounts is.
Therefore, from today, we will be removing paid subscription memberships and instead every member will now receive the same number of points per activity. We are doing this in a way that no-one loses out financially and which is as fair as possible.
Rewards
Recently, the reward shop has been extremely frustrating for some members hunting for cash vouchers. We’re changing how that works which means you don’t have to hunt for vouchers anymore.
In addition, you won’t find any cash vouchers in the shop moving forward. We are now linking them to a new type of challenge. These new challenges require you to have enough points and sometimes, if they are sponsored by our partners, meet other criteria. We have already beta tested it among selected members by inviting them to undertake their own private challenges and providing them with a reward when they complete it.
The reward shop will continue to have great offers and exclusive deals from our partners. As we’ve grown we are getting more and more offers for lifestyle and active gear that will allow you to mix your points and cash.
So it looks like anyone (like me) who paid for premium membership has wasted their money. Thankfully I (just!) got my money back in rewards just before they changed their model.0 -
I've been using Bounts for 18 months and I've got Premium+ and 8000 points who no doubt are about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
So Mr Martin Lewis what are you going to do about this fiasco? you promoted them and 'broke' them. Are you going to get us our vouchers and subs back?:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:0 -
Really don't like the idea of the cash vouchers linked to challenges that can only be won by the first 100 people to complete it. Doesn't really make it fair to everyone, you should get the voucher if you complete the challenge whether you are the first one or last one to complete it.0

I paid for premium membership and have been stocking points (8600) with the aim of at least getting my money back... Trying to cash them in has been absolutely impossible, even with vouchers in the basket, the shop would crash and bye bye.
Now I'm pregnant with twins, I cannot even reach the 7000 steps a day, how am I going to participate in any more challenges to try to get my money back!!!
Who do I write to for a refund? Even if they are not going to give it to me0
