Thanks to the courthouse fire that destroyed his birth certificate, no one’s really sure of Mr Jack’s exact birthday. All we know is that it was sometime in September 1850. Which is why we celebrate all September long, culminating in a spectacular Birthday JD Set at the distillery.
On October 13, just 200 people will watch Patti Smith, Juliette Lewis and Shingai from The Noisettes perform at the Jack Daniel distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee for this one-off Birthday JD Set.
In what is set to be a very special occasion, The New Silver Cornet Band - will be playing backing to Patti, Juliette and Shingai for the ultimate gig.
Luckily for you we have a pair of tickets to give away for the event – for one winner and a friend. This will include your flights out to Tennessee and accommodation. Birthday celebrations will include an authentic, southern style BBQ and a personal tour of the distillery followed by the main event, the Birthday JD Set, where the celebrations really begin.
