Recommend a Wired Keyboard and Mouse?

Options
Looking for a good wired keyboard mouse setup with 1m+ cables. Also ideally would like it to be a quiet as possible, so no loud tappy keys or mouse clicks? Budget is about £30.

Any recommendations of stuff you use at home or work?

I'm a big fan of the Microsoft Internet Keyboards. They're pretty straightforward (and cheap), and they have a built-in wrist-rest which makes them really comfortable & ergonomic to use. I got one to help with my RSI, and wouldn't use anything else now.

They don't make them any more, so I'm tempted to buy this one... but I already have four of them... And another dozen French-Canadian versions that I accidentally bought off eBay (long story). So here ya go:

The keys aren't "clicky", but they make a bit of noise unless you type tediously slowly and gently.

I recently bought a couple of Genius XScroll mice and am very happy with them. There's nothing remarkable about them - you hardly notice you're using them, they just do a simple job well. I got the PS2 version, simply to free up USB ports.

I will also be interested to hear about keyboard recommendations - finding a cheap keyboard that's nice to type on isn't so easy.

I did once buy a more expensive keyboard with Cherry mechanical switches, but then one of the keys stopped working, so it felt like money down the drain.

The Microsoft all-in-one media, keyboard and trackpad is an integrated unit.

    No "clicky" mouse required.
