    OP isn't exactly blinding us with coherent legal arguments. I'm sure she'll get a solicitor who'll take on a case and it's fund their Christmas whilst achieving at best zero and at worst unemployment


    That is of course assuming employer hasn't read this and seen her name therefore pre-empting the above

    Hi

    15 years ago I used to do regular call out for an IT company I worked for.

    For a Saturday or Sunday I would get paid £25 for a 24 hour period - if I got called out then I got paid more.

    We had to be online with 15 minutes - which in reality meant staying at home as I only had a desktop at home.

    Not as bad care workers having to do sleep overs, especially as I was on above mw - but still a pain.
