Well, it seems to be snappier than the preceding release and generally just a bit better all-round.

I was told today that there were some issues, mostly around Apple Music, so I'm nervous about updating, when they introduced Apple music in an update last year it clouded all my music and deleted my playlists on my iPad, I found myself on holiday, a hotel with rubbish WiFi and all my music in the cloud, not a happy bunny.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0

I have read that it has been bricking some devices. I believe they have sorted the issue with version 10.0.1. However when I do an update check it says ios 10 not 10.0.1. As result I have held off updating to it.0

I've put it on an iPad, two iPhone 6 and one iPhone 5.
Some colleagues have done their iPhones too and nobody has yet mentioned any issues.0 -

Yeah, the fixed version is called 10.0.1 though and the available update says iOS 10 not iOS 10.0.1. Is it offering me the first version or the fixed version. If it's the fixed version why doesn't it say 10.0.1?0 -
iOS 10 seems much better compared to iOS 9 in terms of performance on my iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
As for the available update being iOS 10 and not 10.0.1 for some reason it showed up as iOS 10 when it came to downloading on my iDevices despite showing 10.0.1 in Settings>General>Software VersionIt's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -

Because they didn't want to say to the people who hadn't updated that we ballsed up and had to do a hasty fix.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -

It was always 10.0.1, I was part of the beta testers and we got the IOS 10 update last week and that was 10.0.1. It will only show IOS 10 on your downloads as they dont recognise the minor 0.1 only if its 10.1.
There has never been a 10.0.0 released to the public and the issues were not the software but apples servers which has been fixed.:beer:0 -
