I'm hoping that someone might be able to help regarding a recent irritating problem I am experiencing with Twitter, which is as follows:-
A couple of days ago I changed my password, and ever since doing so, each and every time I sign into Twitter, a login notification is sent to my email stating that I have signed in, and if it is not me signing in, that I should contact them. Has anyone experienced this before, and if so, is there a simple way of switching this off? I have already filtered these messages to go directly into my Spam folder, but wondered if there was a way of sorting it out?
Thanks for any advice.

Thanks AndyPix,
I've already gone through all of those processes regarding receiving tweets or re-tweets etc, and none of them work, as the notifications are related to me actually signing in, (I have also already switched off any other email notifications from Twitter).0 -
Actually it's a good sign you're getting those.
It's because you're logging in and out all the time instead of leaving yourself logged in. (unless you're using public or non-private machines that is!)
I don't think you can turn off those "log in" notifications as they are there to warn you if someone else has logged into your account.Laters

Thanks for the advice SOlitaire, I was just concerned, as I'm not using the account any more than I did before and have never seen these messages before. We've always been advised by our IT techies at work to sign out when not using a programme, and it's sort of stuck in my head.0 -
Im fairly sure these messages should only arrive when signing in on a device that hasnt been seen before.
You dont really want to be receiving an email every time you log into something - that is overkill and i doubt that is the intended action by Twitter.
Have you changed any cookie settings recently ?
Twitter would drop a cookie on your machine to remember your log ins from this machine.
Check security settings, and possibly add it to trusted sites list (if only to see if that's where your problem lies)0 -

Hi AndyPix,
It is incredibly annoying, and I'm using the same laptop as before, and never had this problem before, and I have not changed any cookie settings recently either, so i'm a bit as to why it has changed.
Thanks for the advice.0
