  • Thinking that I should go the press route.

A facebook campaign and local rag article would be bad news for the land owner as they too run the Gloucester Quay shopping centre but I feel that my engery levels are zapping down and I may not have the fight left in me.

Sorry that I misgender her, I hope that she doesnt take it personally.
She won't mind at all, she's often referred to as 'mate' or 'bud'.

She gives such great advice, most people assume she's a he! :rotfl:

You ought to try advising on here 24/7/365. :D
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Your mother is , as you say, allowed to enjoy "reasonable adjustments" due to her "protected characteristics" under the EA 2010.

However the EASS have no regulatory powers and, in my particular case, have advised me to go to the Local Government Ombudsman about a Council Parking ticket.

In your case, you would have to appeal to the landowner and/or Popla/IAS. If both fail, you could go to court, or better still wait for them to take you to court and enter a counter claim for disability discrimination..
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    the signs look perfectly legal

1st one is large at enternace place and has large text that is big enough to read at 5 miles per hours, the speed of the car park. Would that be the full terms and conditions board? Not a lot of words have been used compared to ones at totally different car parks I've visited in the past.
