Hi Can someone help me please? I have a £36 default for shop direct on my credit report which dates back to 2014. I haven't got a clue what this is about but am happy to pay it if it helps.


The thing is, I don't know who to contact to offer too?


Does anyone have any advice please?

    Hi

    If you pay the default it will show as satisfied, which is better than leaving it unpaid from the perspective of improving your credit history. It will stay on your credit file for 6 years from the original date though, unless there was some kind of error and you successfully complain.
