Hi everyone. I’m having difficulty with iTunes on my Windows 10 laptop.
The laptop was never great and was used almost exclusively for internet and office use. Now I want to transfer all my old CD’s onto my iPhone 6s I’d like to completely remove and reinstall iTunes on the laptop. To be honest I’ve had no call to use iTunes in the past so while I’ve managed to put a few CD’s on it over the past number of years I still have those and don’t mind wiping the whole of iTunes and restarting afresh it that is the best option.
Here’s my problem. When I go into Control Pane/programs/ program and features/uninstall or change a program and select iTunes delete I get a message from Windows installer that: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable….Click OK to try, again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package iTunes 6464msi in the box below. Then it gives the user source as C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Software Update\
So can anybody tell me what’s going on here, how I might fix the problem, delete and reinstall iTunes? Many thanks for any advice you can offer.

Do this. Then do it again whenever iTunes prompts you to do it.0
