Overpaid to SLC via Self Assessment - how to get it back?

I've realised that I've overpaid to student loan company via my self assessment tax return.

There was roughly £3k remaining to pay it all off and actually paid student loan repayments via self assessment of £8k. So the refund amount is large enough to want to get it back sooner rather than later.

How and when do I get the money back?
