Laptop or Tablet - Business use

Hi guys

My sister wants to replace her old laptop, basically she wants something to send and check emails on, internet and basic word processing, and printing documents. originally was thinking about laptops, but then thought would be more useful if it was portable so considering a Tablet

Ive never really got into tablets myself, so not sure how easy they are for word processing and printing for example

any ideas on which would be best in your opinion? and any suggestions? She doesnt want to spend loads of money on either tbh.

Perhaps a 2 in 1 hybrid laptop/tablet might be for her, it all depends on screen size that your sister is comfortable with.

Thanks, well he sent me a link to a laptop she was considering and it was £150, so just having a quick look theres not going to be much in that price bracket.

I can see why she doesnt want to spend much, it generally would be for emailing, printing and occasional word processing.. shes a dog groomer so would prefer something that is portable for when shes grooming in the bathroom for example.

An ultra-thin laptop always seems like the way to go for business. I very rarely see anything else used - occasionally the odd person with a windows tablet and flop-out keyboard

edit: Forget that suggestion - it wouldn't make sense for a dog grooming business.

Don't expect stellar performance off these things, they are cheap for a reason but if your sister is using these things in a bathroom with wet dogs then perhaps cheap and cheerful might be a good move.

to be able to get Internet anywhere, therefore not having to depend on WiFi.
