MSE Credit Club Using Wrong Address Finder?

Hi, I've tried to enrol the wife and myself in the Credit Club. On completion she gets the following message:
"Sorry, but you have failed the Experian identification process. This means that Experian was unable to verify your identity from the details you provided. The information that it holds on you is very sensitive so it can't allow access unless it's sure you are who you say you are."
We checked and double checked the correct information was inserted.
I noticed that when filling out the application and entering our post code and house number the list of addresses actually shows the wrong county as "South Wirral" when the correct county is "Cheshire". I am unable to manually edit the detail. Certainly Post Code CH66xxx is in Cheshire. I'm sure some of the other CH6x codes are wrong too?
So, I then tried to enroll the wife using Experian's Credit Matcher and surprisingly enough, she's been accepted and has a credit score of 922. Experian's address finder does NOT show the county, just the town.
Is there something wrong with MSE's address book and could this be the reason why my wife and I can't enroll?
