They usually can't be refunded or exchanged but I wondered if they would come under the distance/online selling regulations which I understand mean they can be refunded or exchanged?
thanks.
(... have booked cinema tickets for the wrong time, dur. The 6 and 8 were very similar and didn't spot it until reading the confirmation email....)
thanks.

Cinemas will often change these for you, I don't think it's covered under distance selling though, I know concert tickets etc aren't.0 -

The Distance Selling Regulations were replaced some time ago by The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
The current legislation, and the DSRs before it, excluded the right to cancel from "the supply of accommodation, transport of goods, vehicle rental services, catering or services related to leisure activities, if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance".
But as said above, no harm in asking.0 -
Why are you asking this?
What you should be doing is politely asking the cinema if they could change them for you, as you made a mistake, there is no need to ask about legalities at this stage.0 -
I'm guessing the first thing you did was get on the phone to the cinema, what did they say?0
