Can anyone please advise me? I have just bought a new desktop PC with an Intel Core i5 processor. It's working OK, but the only gripe I have is that web pages and the pictures on them are very slow to load. I wondered if this was because it has a shared graphics card (Intel Integrated Graphics), rather than a dedicated graphics card, which all my other PCs have had? All the drivers are up to date and the manufacturer's tech support department said it was the internet connection (which is exactly the same as my old PC). Is there anything else I can do please, or should I buy and install a dedicated graphics card? Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated.

From the information on the device manager, it's an Intel HD graphics 5300 -
Have you tried different browsers? Might give a clue.
Could be the integrated graphics doesn't have access to enough RAM, but that's a blind guess.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -

Thanks for the idea, Stator. I was using Google Chrome and have just tried Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox and the same seems to happen on both, with some pages and the pictures on them taking longer than normal to load.0 -

Thanks for responding. I'm using W10 yes and have tried on Chrome, Edge and Firefox, with exactly the same is happening. I haven't got adblockers and MVPS hosts installed... should I have?0 -
Is it all webpages, or just those with lots of image elements?
What's your internet connection setup and speed?0 -
