Morgan Stanley PPI

Can anyone help please, i found some old Morgan Stanley credit card statements detailing PPI payments, but i don't know where to send my claim to despite a few searches.
Statements are from 2005. I'm trying to avoid using 3rd Party Claims handlers.

You dont send a claim, you send in a complaint with papers to back up your complaint

You dont get it back just because you paid it.

They need proof
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
• In case this is of relevance to anybody...

I discovered some old 2005/6 statements which reference Payment Protection and decided to send documents to both Barclays and Morgan Stanley.

As I couldn't establish if Morghan Stanley have a department themselves which handle historic claims (and anticipating Barclaycard to give me the runaround), I called them up and asked if they had an address specifically for PPI claims, and to my surprise, they do:

Morgan Stanley
PPI Department

20 Bank Street

London
E14 4AD

Good luck anyone who gets in touch. I sent them my paperwork yesterday.

• I read with interest the details of M+S address, and might drop them a line regarding my statements from 2006. I don't have anything listed for PPI, but when I try to agree their interest rate against my outstanding balance it dosen't compute.
So i'm just wondering, have they hidden PPI within their interest applied?
Any comments would be most welcome.

No. It's always shown separately. You didn't have PPI.

Remember you will need to calculate interest on the daily balance to get the correct figure.

No, this is a famous lie used by claims companies to lure people who like to believe in fairy stories.

I read with interest what your comments are XX81........HOWEVER if the interest rate remains the same as it did....I even calculated on the Balance BEFORE the deduction of a £100 payment and the interest charged was £25 more???
• This £100 payment was deducted from the previous month by the way.
I am a book-keeper to trade........so its not rocket science for me playing with figures!!!!!

As I say, you need to calculate it on the daily balance.

Every day.

Not a single point.

Not one day.

But every day.

PPI is not "hidden" in credit card interest.
Perhaps if you post the figures, posters can advise.
