Tesco Foundation Card Direct Debit

Hi all,

Just had a Direct Debit come out for my credit card.
However i paid my full balance from my last statement 10 days before the direct debit was due to come out.

Tesco have admitted there fault and have offered me £10 compensation. Luckily i had funds in my current account - i'm just a little worried if this has happened to other Tesco customers?

As i'm on the path to build my credit history and maintain a good record with my bank i'm very concerned if i didn't have the money i would have been over drawn or had a direct debit bounced at a time where my credit file is being repaired with positive history.

grounds to write to Tesco or is it a lost cause?
